Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions. Updated 15 August 2025.

Upend LLC d.b.a. OneGauge Digital Gauges (OneGauge) warrants to the original purchaser that any parts purchased from OneGauge directly shall be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase for the corresponding time period outlined below. Please read these warranty terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) carefully prior to installing and/or using any OneGauge Product (the “Product”). By installing and/or using the Product you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Product Requirements and Customer Responsibilities

DIY Product Nature:

  • OneGauge products are not “plug-and-play” solutions. Some assembly, wiring, and customization will be required. Customers should carefully read the instructions on TheOneGauge.com/FAQs before purchase.
  • The customer is required to have access to a working PC computer running Windows for any Hub code updates or troubleshooting that may be required. For LCD screen purchases, the customer is additionally required to have a micro SD card and a way to transfer files to the SD card in the event an LCD screen refresh is required or requested.

Pre-Purchase Questions:

  • Customers must verify that the product meets their requirements (e.g., screen compatibility, sensor fitment, etc.) before ordering. Contact OneGauge with any questions to ensure your expectations are met.

Installer Responsibility:

  • If hiring a third-party installer, ensure they have reviewed all relevant instructions and videos. OneGauge is not responsible for damages or delays caused by third-party installers.
  • Customers must ensure installers are properly educated on the product through the resources provided by OneGauge (e.g., instructional videos, guides).

Shipping Policies

Domestic and International Shipping:

  • Orders are typically shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, though OneGauge may use a different service or provider at any time. Typical delivery times are 3–4 days within the U.S. and 2–4 weeks internationally. Tracking numbers are available upon request, though these are usually sent once the label has been created.
  • If a package is not delivered within 30 days (domestic) or 60 days (international), OneGauge will initiate an inquiry with the carrier. If delivery fails after 30 days (domestic) or 60 days (international), OneGauge will consider the package as “lost” and will begin preparing a replacement. The standard 3-4 week lead time will again apply, though this can vary.

Shipping Damage:

  • OneGauge maintains responsibility for damage due to shipping. Damaged parts will be replaced promptly, but shipping damage does not constitute grounds for a product return and refund.
  • For any product to be claimed under our shipping damage policy, the claim must be initiated within 14 calendar of the package being marked as delivered by the shipping company. Any damaged that is claimed after this 14 day period will be treated as user/installer damage and OneGauge will not be liable for repair, replacement, or any other form of compensation. It is vital that packages be open, inspected, and bench tested immediately upon receipt from the shipping company.
  • If a package appears to be damaged (e.g., crushed, smashed, wet, etc.) when delivery is attempted, the customer/recipient is suggested to reject the package on the grounds of damage. It is better for the customer/recipient to reject a damaged package than to accept it and file a claim afterward.

LCD Screens and Customization

Screen Fitment and Customization:

  • Customers must verify LCD screen compatibility before ordering. Screen swaps are permitted, but the customer must pay for shipping and any price differences. Refunds or credits will not be issued if a more expensive screen is swapped for a less expensive one.
  • LCD screens come with standard designs listed on TheOneGauge.com/FAQs. Additional customizations may incur hourly design fees.

Wiring and Programming

Wiring:

  • Sensors and screens include 3–6 feet of wiring. Additional wiring is available for $0.50/ft (minimum $5). Shrink wrapping is $1/ft (minimum $5).

Programming and Updates:

  • The OneGauge hub and LCD screen are programmed based on the sensors ordered at the time of purchase.
  • Reprogramming to add or change sensors after delivery may incur a fee.
  • Updates required for proper product functionality will be provided free of charge if within the scope of the original order. OneGauge retains discretion to define what “proper product functionality” is, and it is the customer’s responsibility to clarify with OneGauge what the expectations should be.

Third-Party Products

  • OneGauge is not responsible for defects or issues in products sold by partner vendors, including PiDash, dash clusters, or other non-OneGauge items. Customers will be referred to the original vendor for support.
  • Carefully verify compatibility of third-party products before purchase. Refunds will not be issued for errors related to incompatible items.

Product Support

  • Support requests are addressed via email within 24–48 hours, although many are answered within hours. OneGauge has no obligation to conduct or field any phone calls. Customers are required to retain, at their own expense, a functioning email account and supporting device, and the device and email account must support large file transfers. Phone support must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, and no customer is obligated to phone support.
  • Customers are encouraged to leave ample time for installation before important deadlines. While a typical installation may take only a few hours, larger kits will require much more installation. Additionally, the customer should allow for several email exchanges, each of which taking an average of 24 hours, to finalize installation and setup.
  • Troubleshooting resources, including videos and guides, are available on the OneGauge website and YouTube channel.

Documentation Access & Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order with OneGauge and/or using any OneGauge product (the “Product”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Electronic-Only Documentation. All instructions, safety notices, warnings, installation guides, compatibility notes, updates, and other terms and information relating to the Product (collectively, “Documentation”) are provided electronically via our website at theonegauge.com (the “Site”). You do not expect, and OneGauge is not obligated to include, any printed instructions or papers in the Product packaging.

  2. Duty to Access and Review. Before installing, wiring, operating, modifying, or allowing any third party to use the Product, you will access, read, and follow the current Documentation on the Site, including any updates posted after your purchase. You agree to re-check the Site for updates prior to installation and each time you service or modify the Product.

  3. Safety-Critical Inquiries by Email. If any feature, configuration, integration, or installation step could reasonably result in personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss if performed incorrectly, you agree to request detailed written guidance from info@theonegauge.com and/or theonegauge@gmail.com via email and to wait for a written response before proceeding. You further agree to follow any guidance provided by OneGauge in writing.

  4. Ability to Access Electronic Records. You consent to the electronic delivery of Documentation via the Site and represent that you have the ability to access, download, and retain such information. If you cannot access the Site for any reason, you will contact info@theonegauge.com and/or theonegauge@gmail.com to obtain the Documentation electronically before use.

  5. Responsibility for Non-Compliance. Failure to access and follow the Documentation, or to seek written guidance as required above, constitutes misuse of the Product and may void warranties, limit available remedies, and increase risk of harm. You accept responsibility for any harm arising from your failure to comply with this section.

  6. Professional Installation. Where required by law, regulation, or the Documentation, you will use a qualified professional for installation and integration of the Product.

This section survives delivery of the Product and any updates to the Documentation. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights under applicable law.

Limited Warranty and Returns for All Products

A defect is defined as a condition that would render the Product inoperable. This warranty does not cover deterioration of plating, paint, or any other coating. Repaired or replaced Product will be returned to the customer freight collect, though shipping may be prepaid by the customer as part of an invoice. If a replacement Product is not reasonably available OneGauge will have the option to either replace the Product with a substantially similar Product or refund a pro-rated amount of the original purchase price for that specific Product. Any repaired or replacement OneGauge Product will conform to the warranty for the unexpired duration of the warranty period for the original, nonconforming Product. Accepted warranty units which have been replaced become the sole property of OneGauge. All OneGauge Products are subject to the provisions stated herein regardless of mileage.

This warranty shall not apply to any unit which has been improperly stored or installed; subjected to misapplication, improper operating conditions, involved in accidents, subjected to neglect; or which has been improperly repaired or altered or otherwise mistreated or improperly maintained by the owner or his agent. This warranty is VOID for any new products purchased through auction websites, online marketplaces, or any other secondhand purchases. Labor costs incurred by the removal and replacement of a OneGauge Product, while performing warranty work, will be the responsibility of the vehicle owner. In no case does the obligation of OneGauge exceed the original purchase price of the Product as indicated on the original bill of sale. This Warranty is non-transferable and coverage applies for the OneGauge Product installed on the original vehicle for the original purchaser of those Products.

THE PRECEDING LIMITED WARRANTIES ARE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES GIVEN BY ONEGAUGE FOR THE PRODUCT AND SUPERSEDE ANY PRIOR, CONTRARY OR ADDITIONAL REPRESENTATIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL. ONEGAUGE DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

ONEGAUGE ALSO DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF USE, REVENUE OR PROFIT, COST OF CAPITAL, COST OF SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT, REPAIR LABOR, TOWING EXSPENSE, RENTAL VEHICLES, HOTEL COSTS OR ANY OTHER INCONVENIENCE COSTS. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANY CONSUMER OR TO ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER RESIDING WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CONTINENTAL U.S. OR CANADA. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Our limited warranty does not cover service conditions (e.g., soot buildup in sensor probes, or excess heat-damage due to improper fueling conditions, etc.).

Warranty Period:

  • All OneGauge products, including OG Sensor Kits and Custom-Built Units, come with a 90-day warranty starting from the date the unit arrives at the customer’s address. Bench testing the unit within 14 days of arrival is required to validate the warranty. OneGauge is happy to provide a detailed walkthrough of how to test each unit that is customized to the customer’s specific product. Simply email us at theonegauge@gmail.com and request guidance, and provide several days for a the detailed response and time to complete the subsequent tests.
  • OneGauge takes pride in our products and craftsmanship, and we test each unit thoroughly before shipping. We simply request that the customer also test the product thoroughly before installation, and record a detailed video of this “bench test”.
  • OneGauge reserves the right to maintain possession of all returned products and pause delivery of any products and/or services until disputes are settled and/or until outstanding balances have been paid to the satisfaction of OneGauge.

Warranty Coverage Requirements:

  • For the warranty to be honored, customers must provide a video clearly demonstrating the following:
    • Bench Testing the Unit: The unit and all components must be bench-tested in accordance with the instructions provided by OneGauge.
    • Evidence of Failure (and not shipping damage): Once an item or items have failed, a second video must be submitted to OneGauge via email or cloud link. This second video must clearly show how the unit or a specific component has failed during the first 90 days of use.
    • The video of the bench test being taken within the first 14 days is required as it provides evidence that the unit has experienced a warranty failure and NOT shipping damage. Knowing whether the hardware has failed or if it was damaged in shipping allows OneGauge to pursue damage recovery from the proper source.
    • OneGauge WILL NOT provide any warranty service, support, or replacements for products that have not been installed in concordance with the installation instructions. For example, if the customer has not installed the appropriate switch and fuse on the power wire, OneGauge WILL NOT provide any service, support, or replacements for ANY problems that arise. Electronics are fragile systems that can be disrupted and damaged by not following the instructions, and OneGauge will not be responsible for damage caused by not following the instructions we provide.
  • OneGauge reserves the right to maintain possession of all returned products and pause delivery of any products and/or services until disputes are settled and/or until outstanding balances have been paid to the satisfaction of OneGauge.

Return Policy:

  • Returns are permitted within the warranty period but must be pre-approved. A minimum 25% restocking fee will apply to all returns, along with any non-refundable payment processing fees (e.g., credit card or PayPal fees). The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. 3D printed clusters (i.e., screen housings) may not be returned for any refund as these are made-to-order custom items.
  • All returned products must be in new, unused condition. OneGauge reserves the right to decline a return or apply additional fees if the product is found to be used or damaged.

Warranty Discretion:

  • OneGauge retains sole discretion to determine whether a defect qualifies under warranty. Damage or failure resulting from user error, improper installation, or misuse will void the warranty.
  • Customers must return defective parts for inspection before receiving a replacement. Alternatively, a deposit may be paid at OneGauge’s discretion.

Sensor-Specific Warranty:

  • Sensor warranties cover functionality only. Unexpected sensor readings caused by unique vehicle characteristics do not qualify for a return or replacement. In case of a sensor failure, customers may be required to work directly with the manufacturer. Examples include (but are not limited to) tachometer adapters and pressure sensors.

Electrical Noise:

  • Electrical noise from vehicle components may interfere with product functionality and is not covered under warranty. Customers are responsible for mitigating these issues.
  • OneGauge retains full discretion to deem customer-stated issues as electrical noise. Once OneGauge deems that a problem or set of problems are due to this interference, OneGauge reserves the right to discontinue unpaid troubleshooting and service.

Return Process:

  • Customers must obtain return approval before shipping the product back.
  • We recommend purchasing shipping insurance, as the customer is responsible for any damage or loss during return shipping.
  • All returns must include a note with the order/invoice number, customer full name, address, phone number, and written explanation for the return.
  • Refunds for returns will typically include the order amount less a minimum 25% restocking fee and transaction fees. Refunds may take up to 30 days to be initiated from the time the packages arrives to OneGauge.
  • OneGauge reserves the right to maintain possession of all returned products and pause delivery of any products and/or services until disputes are settled and/or until outstanding balances have been paid to the satisfaction of OneGauge.

Disclaimer

  • OneGauge reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
  • OneGauge reserves the right to maintain possession of all returned products and pause delivery of any products and/or services until disputes are settled and/or until outstanding balances have been paid to the satisfaction of OneGauge.
